Hmmmm! It is black, that is my gripe, what happened to the ipod white. Sounds very promising but i doubt we will see pictures until it is released which leads me to believe that source is genuine.

a little birdy told me there will be 2 versions.....a Pro version with PDA etc will be the top of line, and the consumer version will be an iPod with a phone basically..

I read that too, and also it will be available in 3 colors. Although the article said its black so i´m not so sure anymore ;/
The iphone looks really great, touchscreen smarphone with great screen, great design (apple), great software (apple) and surely big mem capacity (ipod), 3mpx cam. If apple manages to make all that and also make it totally interactive with mac os x and its apps, this will probably be one of the best phones ever made. Better than any current  phone and perhaps on pair with N95 |

The article says that it is a black stylish device and the whole front is a touchscreen. There is gonna be two iphones too. One smartphone (probably the one with the touchscreen) and another one very slim and non-smartphone (perhaps like and ipod nano ::P:).
I think I´ll be saying byebye to in the near future if they dont come out with something really special... since they are developing mid-end downgraded phones for the moment i think i´m already sure what my next phone will look like hehehehe |

Hi all,
So far nearly all my equipment is Sony to be honest if this is as nice as it sounds and of course has the Safari browser this could well be my first Apple product. Will this work with windows though? or will it be Mac only?

I´m sure it will work with windows too, like the ipod. It doesnt make much sense to restrain its market to mac users. Perhaps it wont work with windonws like it will do with mac os x. The article says it will be able to sync with ical, calc, probably adress book too and etc, which are mac os x apps. However, itunes is expanding its features so o dont know what extras it may bring (contacts, mails and etc) for both windowns and mac users.
