I Don't like Sony Ericsson W880i because i don't like Slim phones, Ok if W880i is looking good, then it has too many drawbacks for me:
1 - Camera has no auto focus
2 - Camera Size is tiny (3.8mm) (K750i - 4.8mm)
3 - No Flash
4 - No FM Radio
5 - 1.8" Screen (Would be 2.0")
6 - So Simple Back
7 - Keypad is Skinny
8 - Very High Price Range (In Karachi-Pakistan, the price is RS: 29,000)

i mean wed normally have to wait for june/july to roll around to get a new phone but i want to at least know what ill be waiting for, this is craziness. one of the reasons i like SE was the transparency of the company the fact that they put out phones that are ahead of the curve. now my mouth is dry from waiting in this desert from the lack of information its pretty bad ... i need something to salivate over, and those "sofia" pictures were enough to make me want to vomit (*horrendous design cues, the dpad needs to be rethought, and the buttons need to be part of the phone (k800 style) not metal nubbins) dont knock it till you try it they say, well if it doesnt appeal to me aesthetically i better get GPS/HSDPA (7.2+) and 16 million colors and QVGA @ 30fps ...

The phone in the pic wasn't Sofia, it was just a test model. This has already been confirmed.

a test model with branding??? it had the CShot logo on it, it had a 5.0mp etched into it, why would they go through all that trouble with regards to casing if its just a test model? i pray that your right, and it looks more in line with something like:
but something is amiss ... and i cant put my finger on it, but something in this puzzle isnt fitting right.
its at least good to know that by june/july i wont have to use a razr ever again, non responsive pos. WORST PHONE EVER!!!

Yes this is really a puzzle.
I don't think I have seen those softkeys before and the exact position of the videocall camera is somehow different. This doesn't look bad to me. I looks like a typical SE design - all the proportions are right. Although, I don't think this sounds like Sofia.

yea i was referring to the ugly as sin black phone as seen in the spy photos, however i would like to think that the picture above is more in line with what we can expect but judging the "completeness" of the black thin phone i guess thats relegated to hopes and dreams ... |

don't push, se already has leaked enough information to feed the fans, comparing to Nokia; what have we heard so far about the next N series? serial numbers only. (not even) "ooh i think the n73 follow up should have 5mp and a wifi" yeah why not? whatever makes you happy. |

What have they leaked? Nothing. And they wont. Theres not a single concrete bit of info specs nor pics just people saying stuff like "have patience" or "trust me it is good" or the best one yet

I can posativley say after speaking with a contact in SE this week that Sofia will not be HSDPA and it wont shoot above 15fps QVGA. Utter lousy if you ask me.

Someone said way back that Sofia was no more than a step from the K800i with a larger screen.

But then don't forget rumors can't actually be called concrete because then they'd be facts making them not rumors. So untill announcement facts have to be kept wet so they don't solidify and become concrete, losing all the rumor status.  I lost myself a few bricks back 
Really the rumors and facts will come eventually, there isn't a rush is there?
Again I'll ask if Faye, the walkman to be released in Q2, is the W660 also being released Q2? I'm asking so the first post can be cleaned up a little. Of course a W500 wouldn't be bad either.

they keep coming back cuz i keep posting that one, its tight, but this thin client is ugly, no hsdpa is sketch, real sketch, i wanted superfast connection with my laptop! im slightly appalled that the closer we get to the end of the year (cant say release cuz i dont know if each day they push it back one day) sofia gets less and less high end, and if its a step from the k800 then why am i waiting, and why are they being so quiet, so the 5 ppl that will buy the phone dont ??? like i said earlier something in this puzzle doesnt make sense. |

The black phone is sofia but a early prototype imo. the end model will look much better than that. think about z610 w900 aso
