Well, if the phone showed has being sofia doesn´t have UIQ, i would prefer M610 100x, megapixels won´t do it for me, a good 3mp camera on a super slim smartphones, with wifi, is much better

I was just thinking that. I like that fact that she's slim. SE seems to be going for it with these far-our designs - K810i, W880i and now this.
So is this Sofia then for sure?
I know some people on here have seen it. Just a simple yes or no please. Thanks

The camera hole on the 'Sofia' pic is quite large. Does anyone think the features below the flash are a portrait mirror and light sensor?
If so then I think this might just have a camera lens cover.
EDIT: Actually its too far away from the camera lens to be a useful portrait mirror. It looks to me like a photo-light like on the W900i.
Flash and photo-light.

The green things around key number 2 & 5 are touch sensitive controls for navigation afaik.. I'm not 100% sure, so don't hang me up on it, but that's what I've heard. |

This version is not. that's just a proto type.

While the 5MP thing would be nice as a UIQ device espesially that a jog-dial would solve a lot of problems. The thing is, why do some people think it looks wide? It doesn't look much wider than a k800 it looks shorter though.

IF the M610i has wifi, I think that confirms the death of the P series. I can't see any point continuing with the P series form factor when they can pack it all into such a slim and neat unit, complete with QWERTY keyboard.
As aggravated as I currently am with my M600i, I'd like to think that they'll have learnt their lesson re the various failings with the current UIQ3 series of handsets, and that this successor will have both improved software and a lot more memory for multi-tasking... if so, I'll snap it up.

I don't know about other people but I am judging it by the size of the keypad in relation to the screen size. On the K800i the screen space looks huge compared to that its compacted keypad.
Now, looking at the above picture, if it is to have a screen with the same dimensions as a K800i then it just looks pretty wide. The proportions of the screen area look almost 'square' compared to some other phones.
I think this is why Shaliron thinks that this can't be Sofia.
EDIT: In fact, I am with thecoolsha on this one - it looks like a prototype. I don't think this is anywhere near a final version, in fact it looks more like a testing model than anything else, the more I look at it.
The keypad area is huge compared to other phones out there when the general trend today is for keypads to take up as little room as possible on candybar handsets.
Also, where is the Cybershot branding supposed to go?

phone keys on prototype looks exactly as on V630 vodafone
but! in V630 they are placed instead of activity menu and web browser keys
so, where are the soft keys?
3 marks under the screen looks strange
touchscreen? UIQ? |

a UIQ3.1 in a K model !!!
the K series is growing up, great strategy for the coming years.
anyways, i am pretty sure, the final design will incorporate some changes. more metal, a bit different keypad...
looks pretty promising...
