I will probably go to the Singapore in November. Does any one know if they sell Chinese phones or something unique in Singapore? I now use Serene by B&O but who knows may be they have something special in design aspects. And most of all I do search for a phone for my mother. I couldn’t find any information about what is available in Singapore, it seems they have only Nokias and so on. I hope I’m mistaken and they have all the Chinese phones available. |

Chinese phones? Dude, its your mom! You can do better!
For uniqueness, i'd go for the Nokia 7380 |

NO we are not
I want something I cannot buy in Europe or Russia, for example NEC (models like N930 - by the way they are for china only but build quality is very high). I don't need fakes and above all nokia of SE or Samsung phones because i can buy one every where and i want to find something exclusive... may be Toshiba or any thing else made for china only. I realy don't know what do they sell in Singapore.
i know sometime they sell Japanese phones compatible with gsm in china but what about Singapore and have you seen something cool or may be even weird lately that will be sold in china?
price doe not matter if it is something special.
what i'm searching for myself is something with extraordinary design not fuctions...

NEC is Japanese by the way, it's not CHinese.
Some people make the mistake of thinking it's chinese.

Hey, of course I know that NEC is Japanese company, yet the mistake is to think that phones like N900 have any connection to Japan, Japanese Nec does only WCDMA, GSM are made in china and mostly for China only with some rare exceptions.
if i'm not mistaken in http://www.mobilesquare.com.sg Sharp 904SH costs 300 usd? isn't it great? |

NEC Japan also makes GSM (3G) phones. Look at the 804N
3G in Japan uses sim cards and the whole country will be moving to GSM soon.
