Hi all,

my problem is that I updated my Smartphone Suite to the latest release and then made the mistake to plug in my phone vie USB to early. Windows started to install something and since then the Suite can not find my phone.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall, no help, when the phone is plugged in it starts installing something but stops with an error message in the system tray.

I tried a system restore to the point before the upgrade of the Suite, but after that the old Suite didn't work anymore, started a window "Windows is configuring SE Smartphone suite". The Suite was the new one and didn't recognize the phone. When I uninstalled it, the Uninstall Shield crashed, but the Software was apparently uninstalled.

Now I have reinstalled the new version and it still doesn't work. Any ideas?? How can SE f**k something so easy up? One slight mistake on the user side and the Software is completely unusable??

Uninstall SS.

Control panel and remove the usb drivers and SS associated files.

Re-install.

I had the same prob.
In my case the problem was Firewall.
What I did was closing the firewall, installing PC Suite once again.
Now it works fine.
