My K750 just took a fall from the 2nd floor of a building! My friend was sitting near the window and he was holding the mobile in his hand. He moved his hand and the mobile slipped out of his hand and dooowwwn it went on the side of the road. I and my friend went down and the battery was out of the mobile, the memory card was out of the mobile. I thought it was completely damaged.

Any how I put all the pieces together and I tried to turned it on and will u believe my luck it got on!! I was amazed to see this. I have seen other SEs when they even fall a short distance they get damaged but my K750 survived. The battery cover is a bit bent but the mobile works fine.

Phones are surprisingly tough, the K750i does seem to be fairly tough, though susceptible to certain problems, like keypad ones, the microswitch for the camera, etc....

I've just bought one off Ebay that just needed a new keypad putting in (the keypad itself, not the keypad membrane!), and when I had it apart to replace the keypad, noticed it had suffered in the past quite a bit of internal moisture damage! But despite this, it seems to be fully working, no problems that I can see, quite surprising!

Thats bloody amazing. I don't think it was tested to withstand 2nd floor falls? Nothing much else would. Good stuff.

My W800 is also a "veteran" ... I dropped him from my pocket when I was riding my bike, it also fell from my pocket (yes, I know, I shouldn't keep the phone in the pocket anymore) when I was going up in the attic and it has no problems so far ... only a few scratches on the back

And the winner is K750\\W800. I think SE phones are very good quality.

There is this one nasty scratch but the phone is OK.

@shuja - Well the scratches can be remedied by just changing the covers mate . . . glad it's still working.

@jack - So, is the unit still functioning? [addsig]
