Just done a master reset on my W950i, and reinstalled SEUS, and there despite being told before that there was no update, there was, and the two necessary files are now there. Does anyone have the 2 generic world 1 files for the W950i?

i m in great trouble i just debranded my sonyericesson p990i its cda is know changed to CDA162007/1 R5A13 but the real problem is the phone displaying invalid sim ,,incorrect sim i dont know whatg is wrong wid my phone any help whould be very appreciated. |

if i have on my files on p990 2 files of 350 and 410 bytes, these are the nearest to files of new cda?
these i have to rename it? |

hm..i did the whole procedure. but i had another "problem". my keyboard on flip open is russian and i would like to change it to QWERTY. by changing the CDA this won't change. does anybody know which file could be changed to get the QWERTY layout? is that organizer?
..would it be possible to change ALL files in the blob_fs folder so that i could actually change the entire phone?

you don't access "c:\\" on the phone - this all refers to the c:\\ on your pc - the Sony update directory - to be honest with you , if you are struggling with this, go and find a technical friend to help you otherwise you may end up with a dead phone |

yes - make sure you back up your original 2 files. You can then repeat the process but use your original files as the "new" ones |

hi there
before i begin, i'd like to thank you guys for providing a method to change the CDA of the phone, especially djspian's method which is nearly flawless.
i just updated my p990i using World 1 Generic firmware from a Taiwan firmware.
however, during the 3rd SEUS update to the phone, it says Error after finishing the update.
however, my phone thankfully seems to be working well regardless of that error.
should i reflash it again?

Hi, my P990i didn't have SIM- or Netlock before. I did the CDA Change to Generic World 1, it all worked well. SW is up to date, but when i start the phone and confirm my PIN it wants Phonelock PIN (standard is "0000"). And after confirming that it says "invalid SIM-Card".
