N71, e50 etc dont want to open for me wap.esato.com, always the html sitd pops up. Why? Tia

@boba: My experience on the E61 is that only the full web site loads when you use the "Web" browser. However, usin the "Services" browser, which is XHTML/WAP, wap.esato.com loads fine. Use the "Services" browser on your Nokia Series 60 3rd Edition phone and you should have no problem loading the Esato WAP site

There are 2 browsers in the new 3rd edition phones (at least the ones I have seen). One is named Web (a full web browser which is not WAP/WML compatible), and a WAP/XHTML browser named Services. Check in the Media or Connect folders.

I guess that if you want a decent browser then wap has to go. Nobody gets bothered that MS explorer can't show wap pages.

@shug: In my opinion, its good to have the two browsers in there. It sure beats having only WAP or only web. But I wonder why Nokia ditched Opera: one browser; multiple competences.

The new browser will have the XHTML/WAP support the in next version of S60. Once it's there the old browser will be gone.

@aya thx for the tip, wap works fine in the services menu. Weird, why nokia choose this way to access wap sites
