Is there any similar application as "smartmovie for P9xx", but for uiq3.0?

It officially supports h.263. I encode the video in h.263 and sound in aac and put them both in the mp4 container. Works really good. And this has been answered several times on the board. Try the search function.

3gp also works but the video quality with that isn't half as good as with h.263.

I also use "aoa mp4 converter" which works really good and have good quality if you crank up the setings.

Leks,

I'm using SUPER © Simplified Universal Player Encoder & Renderer which a free software to convert movies. Try it out, its much better than smartmovie.
Also the you can convert to 3gp and increase bitrate which will result in a similar video quality as good as mp4.

@amr999: the thing is I don't know the settings for Super. I have it but i've yet to discover fully how to convert moves for my M600i I'm using mpegable right now to convert videos but sometimes the image freezes for 5 seconds while the audio goes on.After that, it all comes back to normal for a minute or so when it freezes again. It might be software related, i still have the 1B firmware...

@701
SUPER © setting is easy to adjust and use, as for freezing try to lower the frame rate (fps) to 15 instead of 25.

Acala has both a 3gp dvd ripper (works great!). I can watch my DVD's on my M600. Works best if you store each chapter as a separate file when you rip the dvd to 3gp format. Acala also has a 3GP movies converter from other formats.
