We have some own made software which might be useful for some users.
SESC (Sony Ericsson Script Creator):
Among many functions of SESC you can modify SMS sounds, replace / delete SMS animations, delete / change camera's shutter sound, change / delete SMS pics and startup / shutdown animations, activate extra menus, etc.

Tkis SW says it supports K700 and K750 seris phones. Will it really. Have you tried it? I'd like to confirm that it works first before trying it on my phone. Thank though. |

Yes it supports both.  Our software only makes changes in firmware, after you patched it you have to upload the firmware to the phone with some flasher.

As it's written at http://patcher.pappfer.hu "FW Patcher is Pappfer.hu's own made software, with which you can patch the MAIN firmware of your Sony Ericsson phone. You have to know that this software is just patching the firmware on your PC so it has nothing to do with your phone. You need to upload the patched firmware to your phone with some kind of flasher tool (eg. SETool )."
So you browse the MAIN FW file into the software, then patch it and flash it to your phone.

Thanks. I tried it already on my old K700i. I've managed to change the sms alert. But i can only change th etones to midi format. It says the the sms alert have been changed (i've selected a mp3 format file, but when I turn on the phone, only the midi file i've prevously uploaded works). I also tried to change the sms limit but the inbox and sent items was grayed so I canno recieve and send messages. I had to return it to the deefaul value. Any work around thos problem. Thank. |

I download it and it is .rar file and pc wont open it how do i open it is there something i have to do, will DCU-60 work to transfer f/w once ive patched it.

You need WinRar to unzip your .rar archive before you can access the contents.
