Not much is known about this new updated version of the 8800 at this stage apart from the basics like it will have a 2-megapixel camera and a new keyboard design with just a slight change in styling.

Not a bad design and the keypad looks a lot easier to use then the normal 8800 one...

The original 8800 looked far IMO.

Old 8800 had far sleeker curves. Im disappointed. This is just reguretated. At least the 8810-->8850-->8910-->8800 was a marked change, this is another 8910-->8910i job!
Im not getting one!

Very true Jag's, the only real reason i like it is because, the keypad looks easier to use.

I know these may be preliminary images, but why are the recessed parts larger on the silver than the black?

8800 has been the biggest waste of my money this year and I'm not falling for that again!

I see someone is keeping count
nah, I think I just got swept along in the sea of enthusiasm but I've never used the 8800 for anything more than a radio and for show, but thats not really me. I'm not much of a show off as you can probably tell because I have never posted anything I have in the show off thread.
nah, you can have this new one all to yourself!

The same reason a white room looks bigger than a black room...
