well there is a rumour that SE will stop using UIQ and switch to S60 so we'll have a lot to talk to SE people about!

Yeah, same here. (17/10 pm) Got my pass in the post yesterday...not the classy printed plastic on a fancy lanyard like last years, but a simple piece of tear-off card attached to the carded letter itself. (Idle nit-picking... )

LOL, anywayz, there seems to be a more comprehensive list of exhibits this year. We'll see.

Please add to this list if you'd be interested in meeting as a group (and perhaps take some group pics!):

- Jah (prefer afternoon meet)

I doubt that, UIQ is also a Swedish company, SE is mostly a Swedish company, I doubt they would give up UIQ:-) Also if they use S60, then they will be in the hands of Nokia

But it would be really funny: Nokia switching to UIQ (with the 6807 phone... or 6708... nevermind), and SE witching to S60... But I hope they wont Maybe SE could release a S60 phone, but don't give up UIQ! ... or maybe ... just maybe ... try qtopia or other linux os

Hi all,
I am attending the first day and the second if necessary but no lectures or talks for me. I am really looking forward to the SE stand and hearing the kind of conversations takeing place. I certainly know one of my questions Why so little Ram?.

I think the only way we are going to meet is pick a time and a place and that's it. I suppose we could all meet on the SE stand even though it may freak them out a bit we are all likely to be there sooner or later. Any one else got any ideas its just from experience if you don't get it organised early it just never happens.

Marc

Guys, be sure to stalk SE and Symbian UIQ guys, and hammer them with the RAM issue

Has an example, tell them that with Tom Tom V6 and swiss manager, we end up with 3% memory left!!!

They have to work more to make P990 perfect

My sources say that will announce a new UIQ application tomorrow. It will be a killer app for the mass market!

Ah, so they're gonna announce the feature to switch off transitions? I expects its gonna be a Podcasting app or Location Free.
