Does new F/W improve photo quality any?

can anyone tell me what resolution the video is? I have a k800 and wondered if there is any difference?

since this year, the winter was kind of harsh in Chicago, all the land and lakes were frozen solid. Now, after more than week with temperatures above freezing, the lakes still have lot of ice...and lot of seagulls just walking on the ice and "talking" loudly. the temperature at the moment was in the 60s..weird.
