With mere weeks until the 'first release' (althou it may be months until you'll be able to get them at the grocery store around the corner) the question will come up - Which one is the best/most usefull/feature packed poked-rocked ? The P990 is a bit 'handicapped' in latest design and features but never the less a 'mean cell'. The N93 is cutting edge what video/audio goes. My tip goes to the somewhat obscure N73 thou. What do you think ? Greetings from South Africa. Mario :-)

N93 will be ideal for my wife as all she wants is a camcorder and camera. I will have the P990 with the touch screen, quick office, UIQ3, wheel etc - a device for serious business.

The answer is really individual. Not to forget, that p990 isnt out yet and to discuss without testing it is just the half of the whole story

N93 is good. Specially the camera.

why i go with p990i (infact i think its the best cell phone in the world currently)
because not only business point of view its the best cell phone but also if you
see normaly it has got...
2.0mp camera which is good enuff, 3d games,UIQ 3.0 which just kills other cell phones, you can install many misc softwares and have a ball time, wifi, internet,a very good music player with equilizer, supports a lot of music and video formats, u can cuztimise a lot...and various factors...
i think p990i wins it all !!!
and if you try to see business point of view its a killer phone !!
T200 -> T68i -> T610 -> K700i -> P910i -> W800i -> P990i -> M600i -> P1-> Nokia E71 -> X1i -> X10 -> Arc S -> Sony Z1 -> Sony Z Ultra -> Sony Z3+ -> iPhone 6 -> iPhone 7 Plus -> iPhone X -> iPhone XS Max |

The P990 is a far more advanced PDA/phone. If you really want a camera/video player I suggest a good digital compact and iPod, both of which put any phone to shame. |

There's a 4 page discussion I started on the P990 vs N93 here:

I need to get both in my hands first. The N93 is undoubtably the better specced phone - but I'm not sure if I can go back to using a phone without a touch-screen. I'd be very interested to hear how easy the N93 is to use.
There's a review of the N93 on allaboutsymbian and I've seen the N93 on a pre-order contract for only £29.99!

N93 for me.
As much as i love the P990i, the lack of a camera even as good as the K750i is a real poor point for me, as is the slower 802.11b standard the P990i uses.

People, non of you seem to take into consideration the N73. Is not as huge as the other 2 and has lots of features for such a compact device. The P990i is not out for another month at least and there isn't any software for it. It will have to be seen how usefull/stable is as a PDA. In my opinion symbian is not really ment to work as a PDA. Se is giving it all to prove me wrong and I hope they'll succeed (given enough time) WM5 is the established PDA OS. Also the specs are a bit outdated but still Ok if you don't care about 'cutting edge'. The N93 - huh even heavier then the P990 (not much bigger thou when closed !) On the other hand it has everything what technology can offer in a cell as of 2006. (television and wimax are not really out as of 2006 althou trials are ongoing). Unfortunately the N93 will have a 'cutting edge' price too, which brings me back to the Little N73 as top dog for 2006. But then again - you are welcome to disagree - Greetings from South Africa. Mario :-)

p990 will be available next week in Dubai .... n93 in the coming weeks ...
we just don't like the n73 between these 3 phones
but on the price-wise side ... ur damn right ... in some countries you buy a second hand car with the cost of a n93 (ok ok a beaten-down 4'th hand car form the former soviet union ) but none the less a car

| That's where we disagree - the P990 is far far better specced as a phone. The N93 might have camera/video stuff but that doesn't make it better specced - just confused! |

I've got to admit since I started work at Vodafone a few years ago, I've not liked one Nokia what so ever. The 6230(i) was too basic, the N70 was a piece of shit, as was the N80 and N91. So slow and just not user friendly in my opinion!! The E61 is the best I've found so far but I still don't think its that user friendly. And the lack of a camera is another reason why I dislike it (I know the reasoning behind it etc but thats my opinion) I have played with all the above for quite some considerable time but still Sony Ericsson have a much better operating system even on the non-symbian phones! Sony Ericsson all the way for me..
