Choosing a New SE Phone |

Hi All,
I've been looking at new phones for a while to upgrade from my K700i. So far, I'm thinking of either getting a K800i or W810i as they seem to have everything I require. I have also been looking at the W850i which hopefully will be out soon.
What I'm looking for is basically some advice from anyone who's got a K800i/W810i just to tell me if they're worth it or not. Or should I just wait for the W850i?! I am desperate to get my new phone, but don't want to impulse buy.
Thanks in Advance =) |

I've had the k800 for over a week now and found it to be the best phone I've ever had it fixes alot of the small problems that used to bug me the build is to a high standard the screen is one of the best I've seen the camera well what can i say used it at a works party the other night and the flash works amazingly well. My girlfriend has the w810 and it is a good phone as well SE are making some good phones right now but its a bit small and for me not so easy to handle but the 2 phones are built for different people do you care about music or a good camera best thing you can do is go have a play with them you'll know then. I'd pick k800 any day of the week. |

That's always the problem with phones, seems to be one or the other. I'd prefer to have best of both worlds really if it was possible. Aslong as any of the previous mentioned phones have a good level of functionality, I would settle for a good balance balance between camera / music.

The W810 is a great overall phone. Good looks, nice screen, decent camera, , you name it. The K800 is even more feature packed, but that does come at the expense of design, battery life and size. The W850 is like the K800, but it has a far worse camera than both the W810 and K800. It does have slightly better player though and the same screen as the K800. Maybe go for either the W850 (music) or the K800 (for the camera). Camera or ; you decide.

The K800i has the same media player is the W810i except for megabass. I would go with the K800i and buy a bigger memory stick.

@chillivodka if you want a SE then hard choice,SE doesn't have phones that have all in one so probably it will be W810 or W900 if you want as much as possible.
if you really want everything in your phone you should choose Nokia N93,sorry SE to the death fans, but that is a fact n93 has it all

The W810i and K800i are pretty close in comparison in the specs, apart from the obvious - dimensions/screen size/memory etc.
So I'm having to narrow it down to best functionality seeing as they both have camera/mp3 aac support etc etc.
I'll check again in a bit after Ive re-read the specs etc, but the K800i seems to be just that little better (imo). And looking at the specs from the W850i, it doesn't seem that whole much more than the K800i really.
Does anyone know a proposed release date for the W850i? |

The W850 is expected in July.

K800 . . . though so far I've seen to Esatonians who had 'dead' K800's, fortunately they were under warranty and been replaced . . . Good Luck !

It may possibly be worth waiting for a week or two then if the w850i is out this month. Lets just hope it comes out "Bug" free! |

Well don't expect it to be 'bug free'. All new phones have bugs unfortunately...

Aye, unfortunately it's a plague we have to live with. Although I'll still deliberate over getting a K800i or w850i in the next week. |
