K800 Case/Protector? |

Although its not too urgent at this moment in time, I will be getting my K800 around the 18th next month and soon after will be hoping to take it on holiday with me. Now due to the person I am and what I'm like with pricey electronics, I would like a case or some kind of protector that will either cling to the K800 or wrap around it to protect it from scratches, dirt and dust etc. Like the cheap clear plastic protective covers but I feel they are a bit cheap and nasty, the silicon covers seem very popular and very good though, something similar...
I wouldn't like something too expensive but not something thats going to do anything nasty to my phone, either looks or actual damage. I did look on Ebay but all I could see were some dodgy leather things, and although I wouldn't get them anyway, I'd rather not have leather because of personal reasons.
Thanks for any help, it will be greatly appreciated.

I dunno about "dodgy leather things" but I always trust krusell cases having had one for my T610, T630, K700, K750, P900, P910 and have now already pre-ordered on of these
they are well made and always have the right openings etc for the various phone bits

Oh sorry...
Yeah that seems really good and ideal, must have missed it. When I said 'dodgy leather things' I was refering to some I 'think' Hong Kong accessory packages. Its just the stuff looked dodgy and although included a 'dodgy' looking case, they had a load of other crap with them.
Its leather but I might not have much choice anyway...

If the K800 is as size of the - K750i/T630/K700i/T68i/T610 . . . then the ICE-25 might be it . . . though not dodgy. My ever trusted case on the fone models mentioned above !

K800 is slightly taller than the K750 etc but the ice-25 (active case) is listed as an accessory so thats probably worth looking at

I've always thought that the bodyglove cases look very nice, stylish and good at what they do... though I've always been concerned that the phone could still get stratched/damaged in the corners, is this the case?

how about something that doesn't make the phone that much bigger.. that doesn't have a stupid belt clip on, because a phone is not a fashion accessory to be worn.... |

Well usually phones are lol
But yeah I see what you mean, I would like them without the belt clips as well and to be thin and not make the phone too big. Thats why I like the body glove case...?

I have used a couple of body gloves. One on a D500 which worked very well and the other on my 8800 (as seen in this thread) but I went through three of those because the small strap that stretches across the top of the screen snapped each time.

I have had a body glove case on my K750 for over a year now and it's fine, but I did drop it once and now have a small scratch on one corner.
I do think that the krussel cases are better though.

Yeah I was always a little worried about the lack of protection to the corners of the phone, so the Krussel's case might be my best option, ecspecially with the possible snapping of the top strap thing.

i agree about the body glove, they are a waste of time in my opinion, as if the phone drops, the corners are prone to chip/scratch - trust me i have one for my k750i
i think i will get a krussel case for my k800, just hope they will come out soon! |

I find the Krusell case a bit too . . . . casual (looks and feel), maybe that can be of use when going mountain climbing or in the wildlife-outdoors . . . the ICE-25 case will suit every formal occasion
The K600i/608i models will also fit in the ICE-25 leather case . . .
With a K700i model:
