Hello,

Still cant seem to get this to work. I don't seem to be able to get that new data account to appear in my phone. Could it be anything to do with my phone being branded?

Has anybody had success doing this with an orange branded firmware pay as you go k800i?

Thanks

Hi!

I made it! I have k800i and hp integrated module with wireless tech, widcomm v4.

1. Just delete (if important) all the accounts from data communication (leave only the bt account) and from bt internet, delete all the profiles from internet settings
2. Make an internet and java profile (connect using: bt account), also streaming via bt account
3. Set up your bt device (local services -> network access properties -> set: allow other devices to access the internet/lan...)
4. Make sure, you have a bt lan connection under network connections (set tcp/ip auto or 192.168.0.1, subnet mask autofills, dg leave blank)
5. Share your internet connection for bt connection (properties -> advanced)
6. Pair your devices

The integrated browser works fine!

Hope this helps!
Sorry for my bad english

Finally managed to get this to work. It needed a firmware update and now when I select my computer in the bluetooth device list and choose connect I get the bluetooth data profile.

I was trying to get it to work with the windows bluetooth drivers but had no luck, it didnt look like the computer was doing anything when it was trying to connect.

So I installed my old belkin software and tried with that. It seemed to try and do stuff, and there was a connection made but I couldnt access any internet. It looked like in the bluetooth lan connection status that IP addresses are not being assigned correctly. What is the correct way to enable the computer to be a DHCP server? (assuming that is what im meant to do) I cant seem to find the check box.

Also I have to access webpages through a proxy and was wondering do I just change the settings in the internet profiles pages?

Thanks

Hello,

I got this to work too. It did not work for a while becuase

1. you need your HOST PC appear under Data Communications -> Data Accounts. I still DO not know what I did to make this appear, but it's there now.
2. Then under Internet Profiles, create a new profile with "connection using" set to your PC's host
3. Enable PAN on your PC, then use "bridge" between bluetooth network and your LAN adapter which connects to internet.

That's it. Now I do not have to worry about data rates when I'm near my PC. It's cool to be able to watch YouTube videos on K790a!!

Hi all!

@ the guys from the last posts... I've tried to use the DCU 60 [cable] to manage to access my pc internet

and yes, it's frustrating, cause i couldn't get this working.

A few weeks ago I could launch Mini Opera from the device explorer, but it froze up at 50%

so after many times trying this, I gave up and decided to buy a Bluetooth Dongle.

Unfortunatly I had to format my pc... windows crashed installing the drivers
So, with my system back and my bt dongle, I decided to get this finally working.

IT DOES WORK WITH BLUETOOTH.
but with Opera 2 ONLY!

So I thought, now lets try with the cable... and.. nothing!

I dont know whats the thing with the DCU-60, but it just wont access internet... it only launch the aplications
