Hi everyone I'm new here (as you can see). Has anyone tried out the higher volume mem stick pro duo cards? I'm anxious to know if there are memory limitations supported by walkman phones.
Thanks! |

there are a lot of members here that already using a 2 gb mspd in their k750 and w800 , i think i also saw one member post he used a 4gb mspd .
btw it seems that in theory a 32 gb mspd should even work

Oh is that so? Thanks for the information!
I have another question... what is the difference of the "High Speed" versions of the duo cards? is the speed noticable compared to non-"High Speed" versions? |

High speed gives faster access to files stored in memory card. |

yeah.. but if its for cellphone usage... you won't be able to see the difference |

There will be marginal difference

yes; marginal, effectively unnoticable difference. unless you use an external card reader to put the files in, save yourself the bucks if youre like myself who doesnt really take out the MSD more than once every two months

okay, dummy question here, but 2 gig or even 4 is alot for a mobile phone processor, isnt it slow to use then?

hmmm....yes this will slow down the cpu slightly, but yes it should be able to cope with it. myself, i am slightly sceptical at 1) a 32gb card would work + 2) the fact that anyone would actually need 32gb on a bloody phone like the k750!

Yep I picked up a 4GB stick on eBay for my PSP but it works fine in the w810i. |
