Flash access will be povided on this place.
Read memory is already done for db2010 phones.
You can read RAM/ROM/FLASH memory from $0000 0000 to $FFFF FFFF
Writing flash in progress.
Only NOR flashing will handle for now.
WILL WORK ONLY WITH SERVICE CABLE

i tried to reinstall my usb drivers and it is successful. the flash drive of w800 is mounted on the computer and also the SE software is also installed in the computer. but still, i cannot see "EPIUSB.sys." all drivers installed by SE has this naming convention: "w800*.*"
everytime i opened FAR and enter the matrix, when i pressed the "C" button, it just turned ON the phone and the flash drive mounted on the computer and also it ask me for the phone password.
i still cannot used FAR because it says that EPIUSB.sys is not installed. where can i get this driver?

Get it here

With FAR, am I able to:

1. Lengthen the time of sound recording (above 5min.)
2. Enlarge the bitrate of video-recording
3. Minimize the compression of (jpeg) pictures I take
4. Adjust the sensitivity of the microphone when recording sound or recording video (ok, this is a bit farfedged, but nice at festivals)
5. Overclock the GPU or CPU (:D)

?

The

keep this in mind, you can't damage the phone itself, so as long as you have copied anything to the phone before deleting it, and knowing where it came from so you can put it back if the phone doesn't run properly (or at all), then you can fix it.

Has anyone else had problems since changing the sms capacity? I have found now that when I was trying to delete my sent message (which were over 200) it said it deleted them all but then wouldnt let me send or get any messages stating "sending failed" or "message waiting, delete messages" etc. Then when i reboot the phone all the sent messages are back again.

So not really sure whats going on.

thanks people, I can now access my phone using FAR

regarding the problem with "EPIUSB.sys" all you have to do is simultaneously press the "C" button and plug in the DCU-60 to your phone (the DCU-60 cable should be connected to the computer already).

also i noticed that everytime i finished with FAR, after shutting down the loader, i have to removed the battery from the phone. the phone won't restart if the battery is not removed. it also takes a long time, about 5 seconds of pressing the ON button, for it to start.

i panicked when the phone didn't turned ON the first time i used FAR, i thought it was dead

mrwoll,

Not sure how relevant this is or not, but when updating my SMS capacity, I also changed the value in:
\ifs\mirror\
to tpa.

Additionally, I found that after making these changes there were painstaking load times for Inbox on first boot or at other random times.

For me to get around this problem, I reverted to old settings and followed this method:
- Backup your SMS with MyPhone Explorer prior to changing settings (Ensure you actually run the backup wizard)
- Alter the SMS storage location (same as has been detailed here), in
\ifs\settings\messaging\, and also
\ifs\mirror\
- Manually delete 'FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF' folder in
\smsdata\messaging\sms\
- Reboot the phone and then use MyPhoneExplorer to restore the backup of your messages (which will now go to the tpa folder).

This was a much more stable way for me than manually copying the FFF... folder to the tpa messaging location. Hope it also works for you!

slasher,

In my WinXP, EPIUSB.SYS is located in:

C:\\WINDOWS\\system32\\drivers\\

Try having the Device Manager open when you plug the phone in, and pounce on the unknown device as soon as it appears (before it disappears!) Then you can manually force feed it the driver.

I have already connected to FAR without the EPIUSB.SYS error bt when I try to access the FS folder there is nothing there. What am I doing wrong.

What CID do you have? CID49 is not supported yet only CID36. Your CID you will see in Davinci client.

Too bad. maybe I have a CID49 phone. Maybe Darkman or you SE people here in esato will soon release a version that support CID49. Till then, I guess I will just have to wait.

Keep up the good work guys.
