I have order the T68 and I was reading some post about it and now I am a confuse about the difference between the firmware and the software of the mobile and also about the new version of the mobile the T68i can some please clear this out and also if you can upgrade the firmware and what is new in the T68i.

Firmware : 'os' you got in your phone that control it
Software : Program you put on your computer.
T68i : Same as T68 (i guess)

Firmware is a kind of software that is embedded into your phone/hardware's ROM (or read-only memory).

If you think of your phone as the same as a PC, the firmware is the BIOS, and the software is what runs over the top of it like windows or Mac os
