That statement in the article is wrong because i never recognised Daim as Dime...i thought it was something different.

It is like when they changed oil of ulay to oil of olay, just plain wrong, doesn't sound right.

Yeh my mum was'nt too happy about Oil of Ulay changed to Olay?....Pathetic....what the hell is CIF anyway?.... JIF was way better and well known....Still prefer Marathon to Snickers!

The cif thing was a joke, I never got it only thing I can think of is that jif were doing badly so they repackaged...
and lets face it the olay thing is obvious lol

Cif is a brand of cleaning products by Unilever, known as Jif in Australia and New Zealand.
The Jif brand was also used in several European markets (Great Britain, Ireland, and the Netherlands)
until 2001, when the name was changed to Cif in order to harmonise marketing and product inventories
across the continent. The name Cif was chosen partly because it was used in more markets, partly
because it was perceived as a better name across the range of European languages, and also it was
thought thats people living across Europe could not properly pronounce the word "Jif" and partly because

When did marathon bar's change over then, surely before 1984 as i do not recall them at all, mind you i don't like snickers so maybe never noticed.
Why do they change anything? I mean some changes are good starburst is better than opal fruits and o2 is better than bt cellnet etc etc.
