Hi!
I am looking to upgrade my slowly fading PDA and have seen these -
Fujitsu Loox T830 (F-LOOXT830)
http://www.clove.co.uk/produc[....]eaNo=400_1_10&intElement=29215
HTC Hermes

Yes, I will read the specifications and draw my own conclusions, but I would value hearing from anyone here who has first had experience of these 'kinds' of phones.
I do know they are not released as yet... hence these 'kinds' of phones!!
Thanks

You probably find it hard to get a response in this forum on WM5 devices, but from my experience with the older models of this..ie MDA VARIO an LOOX 720...I know its totally different but working from build quality and support..
I would seriously look at the FJS..as I am not really a big fan of the sliding keyboard on the vario...adds to the thickness of the device.

thanks! I have been searching for forums that focus more on Windows devices..
I guess I need to wait for the release of both devices, then I am sure to find out more..

speaking from experience with the k-jam since last August (I got one from the first batch that came to UK), I haven't had a single problem with the keyboard, or any other aspect of the device at all.
assuming that the hermes comes from the same standards of build then I doubt you will be dissapointed
the one thing I would like, as themarques comments, is that the slide out keyboard did not make the device as thick as it is but its not a serious complaint.
I have no experience of the other model you mention so have no comment there.
