I just upgraded to the R5D007 and i've noticed its quicker but no sms alerts 
No problems with my HBH-30, they added a " connected
when i make a call |

After R5D007ie & BT Fail on being Discover,
I tried R3C001-Att today...
Bad.... Yes Bad....
-- BT Still Don't work
-- ISP's Email Send & Receive not work, Work with R5D007ie before.
-- Menu speed is slower than R5D007ie
-- Big Problem! My Own Rogers "Data Comm." setting is gone after Power off
-- ATT US "Data Comm" setting come back like ghost after Power circle...!
-- Tx/Rx is better on R5D (my feeling)
-- No Batt decrease Problem
Hope better luck next time....
Hope someone can find out the BT solution....

Are those all the problems you found with R3C001? I have that SW version with AT&T and don't have those problems. My BT works fine (with bluespoon). ISP send and receive works with all 3 of my email accounts: AT&T, netaddress and anytimenow. Haven't had to worry aobut any data comm problems. Can't comment on menu speed as I have only tried this SW version. But I really have no complaints. |

Just rcv'd my phone back from the US SE Service Centre in Chanhassen, MN.
I sent the phone out to MN with R2E006, and it came back with R2F004.
Appears that the Service Centre has not heard of R5D007 yet. This is very disappointing.
Is there someone who is doing R5D007 flashes in the US?

T68m can be upgraded to R5D007 - mine is 
One gripe though - SMS vibration alert has disappeared! |

Well, I've got vibration alert on, message alert set to click and I don't get a vibration alert. I did with previous SW.
If I believe it's true then it's not misleading.

it is still on for me .. but it always hangs .. and have no reception even the bars are full and the GPRS is always loosing connection ..

1) Is your R2E006 came with English / Simple Chinese?
2) Are you upgrade from 68m to 68i with R2E006?
3) If so, if you further upgrade from T68m > R2E006 > R5D007, you may expect lost of Standby Time to around 55 hours.
4) If your R2E006 came originally with the phone, can you post the file here.

I have software version R2F004 and I don't get a vibration on the message alert with it set to 'click' either. If you change the alert to 'tone' it works.
I am sure before I upgraded it vibrated on 'click' as well.
This is annoying as I want my message alert to be silent but vibrate. I would assume everyone does! During meetings, at work etc...

HELP i upgraded my t68 software to R5D007 from a sony ericsson service centre it locks up on to functions wap services and connect once i have selected either function the phone does not respond i have to remove the battery also when i turn it on it takes a while to boot up i get a egg timer and the words please wait can anybody help orr will i have to send the phone back. thanks |

I discovered there's still a bug with R5D007. On my t68mc, plugging in the headset in a screen like settings->sounds&alert->ringing signals where there are ringtones with chinese characters can cause the screen to garble up. The chinese characters become boxes. This also occur when playing the game naval defense. |
