I'm finding N73 more impressive than K800 . . . I like that huge screen!
Good placement of stereo speakers too (found at the top and bottom of the phone), which is good when viewing movies with the phone horizontally.
And it records movies better than K800. |

yeah, i'm kinda considering for a nokia phone, because of its video recording, i saw videos taken with a w800 and it was crap compared to the nokia, i forgot what model it was. and the camera wasn't TOO bad on the nokia, still good. |

uumm i might have to disagree with yah on that part.. indeed or IF however some NOKIA phone shoots good vids... then the good thing there is it JUST shoots good vids... and barely phone functionality is way close to crap or indescriminately lame.
id still go for SE in over all impressions... NOKIA bears good looks.. and i guess thats about it...

I don't exactly get the advantage of N73 having a mechanical shutter. How would that improve its camera shooting capability? |

i guess it will help reduce the shakes while capture...
but... still the end results weighs mainly on the quality of the pics taken with a good camera module.

i'll probably still go for the nokia, besides, i really think i probably can't even use like half the functions on the k800i. SE will probably cost more than Nokia, usually. I'm probably going to get a Nokia, unless of course i can get my hands on the w900i |

@rocky nokia has far better cams the sE imo. just compare a z800 or k600 cam with 6680. amazing. maybe on the 2mp level they are the same, or almost the same, but according my experiences, nokia got better ones. do interested in n80 and k8 "cam war".

You people reside in fairly well developed countries with good network coveriege. Try using a SE for calling where a Nokia has a one bar signal strengt and you will see what I mean. Please don't argue if you have not tried ! I wanted so much to buy a K750i but . . . Also is there a way to take 3 or so pictures well focused within 10sec on using a K750i ? Tell me which button must be pressed and when because I really have a problem with that :-( Greetings from South Africa. Mario

Usually the best way to get cured of the "maybe a nokia" symptom that hits us all once in a while, is simply to get one, then very soon you will be cured for a long period of time again and remember why you originally bought S//E
But, I agree the N73 looks like an ok contender to the K790/K800
Lets see when it hits the shelfs, maybe that will be so long into the future that the K790/K800 are allready replaced by new S//E models

Exactly I am using an N70 for the moment and i hate it.. Loking forward to the K800 and it's A2DP profile that the Nokia is missing...

If your byast towards SE then you will say the k800 is better but a neautral will look at both stills and vids and say the nokia models are better |

now thats illogical... is they will say NOKIA is better.. then their NOKIA bias...
well its hard to tell actually.. maybe a hardcore SE phone fanatic and a NOKIA die-hard will go head to head using the same-level phone and do much stuff that they can do with their handsets... maybe then we'll find out who has it all.
like for example handset designs.. there are really NO guidelines in constructing a perfectly designed mobile phone. is there? please correct me. well i guess for ergonomics... but still itll all depend on the user.
and were discussing on an SE sided forum... has anyone tried what was the weather back at a NOKIA forum?
peace out!

@mario did u even bothered to read the title of the topic?
cause we weren't talking about the k750i...
and yes my country has perfect coverage so i don't bother if a lousy nokia has better signal in extreme conditions... |
