The N73 is a worthy opponent to the SE K800, considering it combines the K790i, the K790a and the K800 all in one (N73 is quadband, 3g and EDGE...). The biggest problem I have with it is the brand itself. I just don't like the Nokia UI and I don't see myself changing anytime soon.
The N93 is not even in the running since it's a double flip phone (can you say: double points of failure) and weighs 80% more than the K800. |

I say K790/K800 will still win over N73 when it comes to photo quality. K790/K800 has better/more camera options/features, like xenon flash and best-pic feature.
But in terms of handset design: I'll take N73 any day. |

yeah I think;
K790/800 will have a better quality picture (with real flash on board, sony's expertise in this field) but I think the difference can be real slim as Nokia should have learned from its mistakes in n90. Also video capabilitis of N73 can be better than k800's?? |

Usually the best way to get cured of the "maybe a nokia" symptom that hits us all once in a while, is simply to get one, then very soon you will be cured for a long period of time again and remember why you originally bought S//E
But, I agree the N73 looks like an ok contender to the K790/K800
Lets see when it hits the shelfs, maybe that will be so long into the future that the K790/K800 are allready replaced by new S//E models

As Tervel said:
N73 is quad band GSM + 3G phone. All in one.
So you can use this phone worldwide. As you know, GSM 850 is coming to be more and more popular in North and also in South America. And 3G is used in South Korea + Japan, where is no GSM. |

N73 and n93 will be out in July. The OS problems have been solved hence the the n80 is out now as well as the n91.
Nokia were very confident in the q & a that they would have the handsets out by July. Im going to wait and test the nokias out and if thereover hyped ill quite hapily get a k800 but an extra month isnt that much t wait.
I alos posted this in another thread but incase you didnt see it here it is. A video clip taken with the nokia n93.

Not really. Nokia has just removed certain problematic features (e.g. DRM) to be able to release those devices a s soon as possible. Removed features will be added later on with a FW upgrade. |

at the moment, the n73 looks like a smartphone version of what we'd expect to see in a k850. But the k800 looks better, has a2dp and should be cheaper. |
