So how comes, that there is such a huge difference between the same cam?

se camera's are not crap...no doubt that n93 wins but look how big jus the camera module is and sony did the same job in a WAYYYY smaller size...so IMO n93 wins from the k800 and the k800 wins from the n73..(cuz sony can do small things better) |

pics taken by n93 with a trial set. presumably this will be the market release set. imo, the pics are way over-sharpened and grainy.

solja786, there is doubt that N93 wins, the photo i saw was meant to be from final product. The edges was blurry its hardware problem that cannot be fixed, it's also very grainy. But therefore quality of N73 seems very fine, it can even beat k800i, so we just have to wait for fair comparision. |

is that a question towards me?
the s700/710 used a ccd module all the other phones used cmos...
the ccd lens was top notch quality compared to the junk they put into the later 1.3's |

another negative thing wid n73 is dat its a s60 phone..somebody mentioned a couple o pages bak how slo s60 phones are ...and they also said that symbians are good but jus not nokia ones...and dat reminded me of my experiences wid 6680 and 7260..even when tryin to open inbox(i jus chose inbox but nokias do this wid other folders too) it would smack 'Please wait" wid a horizontal barber shop sign in ur face..and u would have to wait a few seconds before it opens the inbox...
but dats my opinion and there are ppl who think otherwise |

Nokia have sold more S60 cells than some small companies (including SE) have sold in total. If your INBOX is full of crap is not symbians or Nokia's fault ! If one were to disregard Nokia's contribution to Symbian then we may just aswell forget it exists/ever existed. Greetings from South Africa. Mario |

lol nokia has done a great job with symbian....it's a solid platform just the multimedia functions mainly cam and music haven't lived up to my expectation

I will be getting a phone this week, any advise whether should i go for K800i/K790i or wait for N73?
Price is not the problem. I have been using SE phone all this while and I always believe SE sound system and camera is way top of other brands but this N73 is real catchy - i kinda like the big screen and is a smart phone, 3G + edge...
This made me sitting on the fence... any good advise?
Thank you! |

If money won't be a problem, then why not get both?
We can't really advice you on which phone to get because N73 isn't out yet, and no one knows how well it performs against K800. |

What I mean is price of the phone is not a problem.
I'm not in the business of using 2 phones at the same time and I dont like the idea of swapping my sim card either. |

The N73 is out buddy ! Go to one of the Nokia forums (prodigits-s60) and read about the superb picture quality ! There are comparing it with a N80. You can even download the pics. The N73 is arguably the best camera (video/photo) cell out there for now.
