@masseur, that's my point.
my argument is that his emails are rude, condecending and demanding.
And after providing the refund and apologizing for the inconvenciance he still gave me a negative and asked told people to 'avoid' me

im with masseur on this, very easy mistake to make and you know people overcharge with postage cost to cover fees etc. if you dont like it you dont buy it! Amnesia's buyer is just being a prat if a full refund has been offered but maybe you should refund abit of the postage aswell although the feedback has now been left negative anyway.

i think its fair of you to refund the money, although the fees some members are talking about may be the final value fees ebay charge (like 3.5% of final total)
but if i was bidding on this, i would have thought it was brand new aswel
"(This listing is for a brand new 2GB SD Card fully boxed of course and is in the UK)"
EDIT: why has he written faulty in the feedback?

He said it's faulty because there is a folder on it.
but anay you looked at the sandisk listing, please see the A-Data listing.

And £1.99 'required' insurance. And asking for 4% for PayPal. And stating "Condition: New".
Who's fault is that?

I think you're going to have the very same problem with your current listing (9127614973). You list "Condition: New", "It's fully boxed and comes with everything, the only thing that was used was the charger, (everything else is untouched)." yet "The phone is of course mint condition, the screen still has the plastic on it, it's been used for a couple of days..."
So, it's used.
And charging for PayPal in eBay auctions violates BOTH PayPal and eBay's policies.

oh really, if thats the case then I will not charge for paypal and I'll just remove that as an option in the sale.
I'll see if I can change that now.
if there was an AS NEW condition I'd use it.
TBH, if you don't want me to pm you I don't want you to comment.
FINALLY, asking for insurance is my right!
NOBODY is forcing him to go forward with the deal. He could simply find another one.
And when I charged 1.99 for insurance, it meant that he'd get another memory card straight away from me. It would be my hassle if it was lost in the post rather than waiting for a post claim.
edit:
regarding my 8800 listing.
FIRST LINE
You've read correctly. I'm selling an as new Nokia 8800.
SECOND LINE
It's fully boxed and comes with everything, the only thing that was used was the charger, (everything else is untouched).
Meaning everything that comes with it is untouched. I guess I should make my listings more IDIOT PROOF.
The Black fascia itself is BRAND NEW.
And at the END of the auction I 'restate' the phone has been used for a couple of days.
I even encourage questions!
In my opinion, if people don't read through the listing, it's their fault. But I didn't do anything wrong!

He'd get a chargeback straight from PayPal; he wouldn't have to wait. Insurance is for the seller's benefit, not the buyer's.

Used for a couple of days. But you've stated three times it's untouched.

Apart from a misleading listing and attempting to charge for PayPal? I'm actually trying to help you here. You NEED to list clearly and honestly
I can see this auction has a lot of scope to go badly. Perhaps when you do a listing you could get a friend you trust to check it for you?

I'm sure the mistake is genuine; no doubt he's a sterling chap.
But having had grief for a listing that was unclear, you'd think he'd want to avoid the hassle this time.

@ abs, amnesia did say the phone was used in the auction, with the original silver face on, however the recently fitted black facia is unused, and the phones accessories, i don't really see any problem in that.
