I meant, Am (in the other thread), you can set your auctions so that ONLY UK registered eBayers can bid on them. I know you stated it, but you can actually make it UK-only.

I agree with the fact that Abs said ebay is a venue not an auction house, they themselves don't auction items, they allow other's to list and auction their own items.
And i think everyone makes mistakes and, i'm pretty sure Amnesia has learned from the listings. Just like I made the mistake of not putting down another bid

@abs, how can I do that? Is it in the preferences?
(is a geniune question, I honestly didn't know I could do that)
and yeah I noticed that person is collecting black ones.
However, you said that the person is registered in the Netherlands,
the address shown to me was Germany and the person asked if I could send it to Holland.
I guess I don't mind sending it to wherever he/she wants as long as it's paid for.

I'm not sure how you set the UK-only thing (I haven't sold for a while).
Be VERY careful with this buyer. She's been selling kitchen things, done nothing for a month and now she's buying mobile phones. It looks like a hacked account. INSIST she pays by bank transfer. Watch out for spoof emails from banks, paypal and anyone else. It's the latest Nigerian scam.
I *hope* I'm wrong, but be careful.

Let me know what happens mate, but if it's suspicious I wouldn't risk it, what would you rather, spending a bit of time re-listing or losing out completely?
If you are going to relist again, my advice would be this.
1) Black 8800's go for £500+ & Silver housings go for £50+
2) Silver 8800's go for £250+ & Black housings go for £200+
Your Zebra which had both a black and silver housing went for little over £400.
Sell the items seperately, those prices are under estimates, you should get a little more

You and me both! I just got stung on a buy it now i had up for a rare playstation game. I am well skint and needed that to pay off my overdraft.
Why do people always have to ruin things for others, now i cant report an unpaid item untill 3rd may and i will have to pay for the listing aswell.

@amnesia - that's something, at least he's withdrawn the feedback. So did you give him a full refund in the end?
@Miss C - if you go through the unpaid item process, it may take a little time but you will get the fees back, and if you relist at a cheaper price (just knock a penny off the start price or something) the relisting is free also, if the item sells. I'd also suggest not bothering with a buy it now, they're suprisingly expensive and often the favourite of scammers. If you're looking for an early sale put something in the listing about being willing to end the auction early, or simply put your BIN price in. Though beware, selling this way means you're not covered by ebay's 'protection'.

Thanks for the advice sammyboy! I am just so annoyed and disappointed this always happens to me everytime i list something with any decent value.
These people just have nothing better to do, if anybody feels like having some fun, then spam away at this address.
