Its similar, but not same as W800. The difference is bigger than most people think (you have to have the phone to experience them). Read this brand new review and see for your self.

According to Mobileburn's review W800 and K750 offer 95% of the W810 functionality. However, I must admit that I would go for the W810, but my W800 is only 3 months old and my wife would probably kill me if I come home with a new phone.

I would favour the W810 over the W800 on the basis of looks cant stand that awful white and orange colour scheme at any price!
I have owned the ... T68i T610, P800, P900, P910, P990, W950, P1, W960 But SE have now totally lost the plot.

looks are a major factor...w800 and w900 in white...just look like toys!
lack of a joystick..is also a plus

guys - EDGE is a big deal .. GPRS downloads are at about 25kbs, at EDGE you'll be connecting at 190kbs.. since MOST networks aren't UMTS ready, EDGE works out. If you teather the phone via BT to your laptop, you'll have ~ 190K downlink.. not bad..

if you travel the QUAD band definatley doesn't suck..

so.. K750+W800 DOES NOT EQUAL w810... the w810 has these two features which the K750 and W800 dont have.

enjoy!

w810 has newer UI, better screen, better keypad/dpad, edge and extra 850 band, better video playback

i find the sound quality to be cleaner too.. in the walkman player.
overall it's not an upgrade it's more like a replacement for the k750i/w800i which will be discontinued soon...

add in the W550 features like copy-paste blocks of text, profile switching using the power button, ability to mark messages as unread and it just makes usability a lot more easier...

i really liked the new UI. i agree that this is just a minor upgrade for the already fabulous k750/w800 phone. k800 would be the next major upgrade for the k series.

tendy & co, you speak of a UI upgrade? But from what I have read, this seems to be very little in comparison to the new look of the K800/790?

What makes it such a big deal in the W810i? Just curious.
