D2P works perfectly on my W800i but not my W810i. My W800i takes albums as they are ripped and copies the album correctly into the Walkman player. My W810i does not. As D2P works on my W800i but not my W810i I assume it's a bug. It didn't work on my W800i either until it was flashed to the latest firmware.

Just got my replacement w810 with R4CE012 (o2 UK) firmware - the flashing light bug is gone on this unit but as with the other w810 I had (same fw) the handsfree loudspeaker is terrible during calls - both at my end and the receivers end, it crackles the spkr as tho its too loud but it stays distorted al the way down to low vol (4xbars).

Anyone else had this on their handset ?

Btw it's fine during music playback.

@absinthebri

Are you sure you have the latest version of D2P?
The one that comes with the W810i is newer than the W800's.
Perhaps if you try to uninstall the old D2P, and install the new again, it will work?

Bug?
Hi all,
Just got myself a W810. Lovely phone. I'm in Dubai, UAE (MENA Region). The sw is R4CE012.
Dunno what CXC1250316 is...?

Anyhow, I previously had a T68i and then a T630.
Here theres only one tel. operator, so we don't have to dial 'area codes' if calling another mobile.
Before, if i dialed 6543210 (for example), it would show the contacts name when I press dial, even though I saved the number with the area code - ie. +97150 6543210.
This doesn't work now. So when receiving a call from a saved contact, the name doesn't appear.

Hope you understand what I mean. Anyone have any idea what this is all about?

Cheers.
Shahveer

P.S. All phones here are unbranded and unlocked, and I think cheaper than abroad (I bought mine for about US $ 463, with Bluetooth Headset - HBH-610a), so if anyone interested, lemme know...

Yes. D2P isn't the issue; it's the phone. Having one phone that handles mp3s correctly and one that doesn't suggests it's a firmware bug.

Like I said, I had the same issue with my W800i until I flashed it.

My baby just had a heart attack!
Was playing with the voice dialling...thru my HBH-610a headset.
gave a voice command to dial (first time, just trying it out), it started dialing, so cut the line. The phone went off, white screen flashed twice or thrice, so i switched it off.
Couldn't get it back on until i removed the battery.

Just thought id let you all know...

I have noticed hissing when listening to music via earphones, and you can, if you listen hard and put it on low volume, hear it via the speaker. I admittedly wouldnt have noticed if it wasn't pointed out to me. But its a bug.... i do hope SE decide to change their mind on not fixing it,

Can't say I've noticed any hissing but I do use my own more expensive headphones (not the bundled ones).

Since I got my new replacement handset (this morning) it's switched itself off twice - anyone else had that problem ?

EDIT: 3x times now - seems to be when I send an MMS - I've done a master reset and changed the battery to see if that makes any difference.

EDIT2: Seems to have been a problem with the battery (even tho its been fine with my k750 for 8 months) changed it and all seems ok for now.

Has anyone noticed when you receive an SMS delivery report that the time it says it was delivered can sometimes be 2 hours and 2 minutes behind.Sometimes not all the time.It does on my T-Mobile one anyway.

I have R4CF002 on Orange and I do not have the LED flashing bug or any of the other bugs mentioned.

RADIO DESCRIPTION SERVICE displays which station you are on in form of text rather than digits. ie: 102.00fm = GALAXY102

Does anyone know when SW-R4CK003 is available on SEUS?
I have noticed that SEUS can be loaded from W810's Supportsite on S.E.
