Also as for standby mode there is no clock like other se models.

The time shows during standby mode. In standby mode (screen black), press the "walkman" key and it will lit up the time.

Ive just got myself a w810i on o2 UK running firmware R4CE012.

Has anyone noticed once the camera flash has been on about 10 seconds it starts flashing? Is this normal? Seams kinda annoying to me maybe its a bug. The k750/w810 doesnt do it and thats similar brightness.

try doing a master reset and see if the flash problem goes away. back-up the files stored on your phone first. also, take out the memory stick before doing a master reset.

by the way, has anyone around gotten their phone with CHINA or TAIWAN or APAC firmware? can anyone confirm if multicharacter searching is present? K750 and W800 can, since R1A

I've had the LED problem where the light starts flashing.

The camera will also exit as soon as you take a photo, or on the odd occasion will stick on the 'saving' part, forcing a reboot (and the photo will be lost).

Apart from these camera issues, I've not experienced any other problems on the phone. In fact, I think the W810i is the best SE I've used/owned in a long time.

I do wish the web browser was like the one on the K610i though, allowing landscape mode and keypad shortcuts (rather like Opera). The anti-aliased font would be nice too, but you can't have everything I suppose.

so far we've confirmed that the flash bug persists in version R4CF002; that's pretty much everything everyone's been complaining about so far. anyone else noticed annoyances/bugs? how about the renegade animations that's just all over w550i? did it carry over here?

camera's LED problem: yes
multi-character search (contacts) : yes

file manager: no matter which category you're viewing (memory stick/phone), when you ask for the info. regarding memory consumption it always reports the same thing for each one, as if reporting the total memory consumption for each filetype.
photos: yellowish hues
screen: a bit oversaturated.

FW: china, R4CF002
