hi guys.. new to the forums.. just had a quick question.. i recently flashed my phone to the firmware r4ce012 to fix the issue with the dropped calls. I haven't really tested it out yet (my calls would drop after 3 min before), but can anyone using tmobile confirm that this fixes the dropped calls? From what i've been reading, majority if not all of the people who used this firmware to fix the dropped calls were from cingular.

the dropped calls were driving me insane! I hope this firmware fixes it for me.

Hi all, upgraded my w810 yesterday to R3CK003 using dvt. No problems with dropped calls and taking pics. Hissing sound is still very present. Is there anyone with the same FW that does not have this hissing?

Could you tell me which FW was the first? And does this one has the "hissing" issue?

I have generic R4CE012 sw and I notice I have the same problem with the mp3 player as I had with my W800i before I flashed it - namely that if I copy an album using Disc2Phone and the album by a particular group has 10 songs, nine by 'X' and one by 'X featuring Y', my W810i treats it as two seperate albums.

I have the same problem with the album naming thing but just put it down to limitation of the software not a fault. It would be good if they could change this as it is very annoying especially if one persons album has a lot af artists faeturing on different songs.

JaRule999, it's a bug. My W800i had the same issue until the updated software was released and now it works as it ought to. Hopefully there will be a W810 flash soon.

Well, it's easy to work around isn't it?
Just edit the ID3-tags as following:
From -> X featuring Y - Song Z
To -> X - Song Z (ft. Y)

Pretty obvious though! Looks better also IMHO!

I shouldn't HAVE to work around it; the software should work.

Well, the thing is, that it DOES work like it should! It's not a bug or anything. d2p reads the ID3-tags, and create folders correspondingly to them. If you want it to sort like you want it to, then load folders and files like Artist/Album/soundfile.mp3 straight onto the phone without disc2phone. Then it will show up like you want it to..
