An incredibly long thread...
Just have to say that I really love the T39m! I was one of the first who bought it, and even now, almost two years after, I'm still not tired of it! And I haven't had a single error.
It's a small phone, and it's front is just beautiful. Nothing fancy crap, just pure beuty |

@* after our local service provider blocked ESATO (using wap broser) both on pre-paid and post paid, im kinda tired of my 2 gprs capable SE units. now, im planning to sell my R310 (easy part).
now the hard part, should i sell my T68m (adriatic blue, white backlite) or my classic blue T39m?

Hmmm... That is a tough choice... Depends on what u want. If u lusts want a phone that looks really really really nice, gees the t39. If you like to look at backgrounds and change themes all the time then keep the t68m. I would go for the t39.

Just one more thing:
the battery still amazes me! Two years after I got the phone, the battery lasts longer than it did in the beginning! It lasts over a week before I have to charge it...
One thing is for sure;
Ericsson/SE is the leader when it comes to battery technology

Yeah another good thing about the t39 is longer bettery life :-) and yeah, se sure is great in making batteries :-) except for the r600 which i think is the worst when it comes to battery life AMONG SE phones...

@san- after i read your post, i took my sim our from my T68 and insert it to my T39. let's see Btw, thanks!
Regarding battery life, i think the worse of them all is the batt of A3618. i bought 2 units (for my in-laws) last march, as i speak, two batts is already dead
it only last an hour or two (from full charge)
@* peeps,
is there any trick or way to bring back the stiftness (when your typing an sms) of my keypad?
i want to "RESTORE" it as if i just bought them (my phone is 2 years old) any help will be highly appreciated |

I wish i could restore my r520's keypad too but sadly don't know how. I think the only way is to get a new one as i think they don't cost that much... So, you don't like themes that much eh? But seriously ain't the t39 much better looking than the t68m? Well i think so ... The best way is to use both for one last time each for farewell's sake and see which you like better ...

@Sanj- i checked with our local SE service (which they have a thead here- SESS) one way to restore the "stiffness' of our keypad (at least 50-75% ) is to change the "keymat dome" or the thing below the keypad.
i already did that 8 months ago (Bnew keypad and keymat dome and anthenna= T39m "tune-up)
i hardly notice the difference. physically, YES! because of the Bnew keypads, but the stiffness, barely noticable
Yup, T39 looks much much better than T68 |

@Sanj- Im keeping it
temporarily, i bought a pre-paid sim (diferrent service provider) to browse esato. as advised, T39 consumes less KB usage compare to T68 (T39= wml)

I'm keeping my Swedish T39m
It's a grayscale T68 with the super long battery life
Unfortunately, the lastest SW is still R4A :-l That's still the same upgrade a year ago.

@Bonito- Do you think my phone (or your phone) will be having problems communicating (via BT or IR) because of language barrier? mines an ERICSSONIAN

bought a T39m last month as a back-up phone but ends up as my MAIN phone, had it upgraded to R4A, working great and the battery really is an amazing thing compared to my T68i.
