Anyone else got this message? I didn't even know it was a promo - I've been using free GPRS for years!

I think I'm still paying for GPRS on O2, is it only on O2 pages or others too?

I have been with O2 for about 18 months and never paid for GPRS. Its a pitty that they will start charging but I have been lucky until now so cant really complain.

Yep had that text today, and a mate did. Does it mean for wap access or mobile web or both, or is it a case of no-one knows because o2 never make it terribly clear.

Probably GPRS and Mobileweb people, I imagine it doesn't affect wap users.

Hi Guys, are you on contracts that you took out in the shops or the o2 online contract ? I think the o2 online contracts may not charge for GPRS as there is not GPRS section on the online bill !

I got my contract through www.mobileshop.com, I receive paper bills through the post, but also emails when my bill is due, showing the total billed amount. I can also check my account on the o2 uk website. There is nothing on my paper bill or online for data charging, will sit tight on this, my contract is up on 27th of May anyway, so will end it in June if they charge and hunt down a better deal!
