masseur have a point there... i would likely to agree.. from the looks of it... itll be all lavish and extravagant but still the functionality is questionable...

with that kinda layout... its easy to tell that it cannot be our ever reliable and functional phone...

kinda like more of an Nokia 8800 version. and yes it maybe pricey...

but on tha second thought.. maybe it has those virtual keyboards flashin out... hek hek hek...

It just looks fake to me, almost photoshopped, seeing that it doedn't have a d-pad or a joystick, why would it say SONY on the face and SE on the side? Also why is the pic only available on the jarengoh website, no Sony or SE press release and nothing comes up on a search with google. On his website it says late 2005, over three months and this is the first we've heard about it on esato, thats strange in itself...

Yep it screams out designer fashion phone does'nt it!....I don't know about, that i think its nice enough to take on the Vertu...vertu is quite hefty in comparison...i'd rather have this. [addsig]

I agree......The vertu lives upto Nokia's brick reputation, although i do like its quality and craftsmanship.

I think it's funny when ppl trying to find signs it a fake when it's so obviosly a consept drawn up in a 3d program (like 3dsmax or simular).
Even the text that came along with the picture says its consept.
But it is still interesting news, and if like the looks it's not impossible they
manufacture it later but ofcourse it then gonna look diffrent since they need
to adapts keys and slots and stuff on it most likely.
Would be nice if was the first to release a stylish feature packed phone.
(razr was stylish but lacked in memory, etc and if I understand correctly veru isn't very advaced in that department either)

One very important point to make is that this Design was officially commissioned by and not independently made by the designer,so their is a good chance that might actually manufacture this or some variation of this concept at some point. [addsig]

Well, I hope they manufacture a variant because by itself this one looks nice but too many inconsistencies like the Sony badge and the Sony Ericsson on the side, no usual navigation keys etc... Plus why is there that hump just after the 'borderless screen' and the keypad?
