I've never used Davinci, so I don't know what benefits there are when using one and not the other. All I can say is, the guy at Wotanserver is on ICQ, and he talked me through the whole process patiently until I did it right. That for me, was invaluable. |

@KNIGHT51NZ:
DaVinci offers unlock. We do not.
I hope we are quite better with customer support and faster with releasing new firmwares. Also our client seems to be much stable and user friendly then DaVinci one ;D

@ Goldenface & Batesie:
Here's a short video of that menu in action, just to tempt you more into flashing your phones!

Vodafone UK branded w900i.
Updated using SEUS about 2 months ago.
So far I've noticed:
-Improved handling of mp3 files (it used to skip quite a lot HQ VBR mp3's [--r3mix setting]).
-Improved responsiveness of the device in general (however, this could be subjective).
No WSOD or increased boot times so far (so good).
I can't stress enough this (which is been posted like 1 bajillion times across this forum and others):
Before doing any SEUS (or w/e tool floats your boat) fw update, charge your battery to 100%. If the battery can't produce consistently enough voltage throughout the process, flash will go pete tong or fail altogether. And SEUS is everything but fast. |

I just de-branded my Vodafone w900 (I got my games back!) and also flashed my phone to Chinese language, using Wotanserver. It was quick and painless, and worked like a charm! It only cost me 7 Euros, too!
I have SW version R5BC004, and I have to say, I *love* the icons on this version!!
