Unveiled at CES today a new Windows CE-powered Petrol Pump that also dispenses MP3 files to download.Called the Ovation iX, the pump also lets customers buy junk food and coffee from the station,check traffic conditions,watch video commercials and more.

Don't think our exsisting petrol stations will be upgrading to these so soon,most likely new the petrol stations that are planned will be getting them...I think we should be expect to these popping up within the next couple of years,thats if we don't have battery powered cars by then!

hmm, interesting tech, but I don't know if I want more reasons for people to be stuffing around at the pump with people waiting to fill up

that's true.
here in australia we aren't allowed to use mobile's while at the pump because of the danger of explosion (abit of a paranoia there) but imagine if it where true - you pull up to the bowser, start to fill up. While downloading ACDC's "TNT", a call comes in and KA-BOOM
