How long do you think it will be until we can convert our w800i to w810.

I still think W810 software can fit W800 despite the difference in dimension.

The screen is a tad bigger on W810 (1.9" compared to 1.8" with same resolution 176x220).

@ArneAnka, ryanmanchins post mentions:
W800 = 100x46x20.5 mm
W810 = 100x46x19.5mm
I thought the difference was in the thickness of the phone ? how does the screen affect this ?

I can't really see there being much difference in the software anyway, can you? What is different, enlighten me? |

I agree with eastcoaster here, its got 2 extra round buttons that do something prob more then 3 functions, i cant think of anyway in which it will work

i am sure someone in china will develop w810 looking housing for the W800 but remembre the W810 uses a d-pad although some of the modders over on www.se-nse.net might give it a go. if it doesnt work its a waste of money though! but i would just rather buy the W810! nicer that way.

I know. I only told you where the extra mm may have went (a tad lager housing to fit a tad larger screen). However, since its the thicknes that is affected it may be the addition of edge/quad band that is to blame (a bit bigger transciever). |
