Do we have any change log about the Latest RBB firmware of W900. I have the previous version RAAG and I would like to know what are the major changes on this version. On the other hand I asked sony-ericson customer care about where could I find the file to upgrade mine and they told me that there is an upgrade on their site but I could not find it.

Maybe you should give people a bit more than 9 minutes to reply?

There's themes available which do all sorts of things to the icons, their functionality is completely unrelated to the firmware version. Did you want to know how to make them yourself or just apply them? Either way, it shouldn't really be in a firmware thread. You'll have better luck in one of the themes threads.

How about the in built firmware updater ? Does it really work via GPRS ? Is it easier and moire reliable to update than k750? Last time I did it on this phone, it just killed it...

Thanks !

We don't know, there haven't been any downloadable firmware updates to test it with yet.

I missunderstood the SE and I thought that it was SE update service anyway I took a look at the site that you give us and yes they support the latest version of the firmware. I have to wait SonyEr to give the solution for my as I am a regular user of w900

Ah, I went to the effort of installing SEUS2 on my flatmates PC (as it won't run on my WinXP-64 PC) to check for an update and was somewhere perturbed when it said I still had the latest version. Still, I shouldn't be all that surprised considering that the update function in the phone had already told me as much, I assume it references the same database.

For anyone following this thread - R5BB is now available via DaVinci.
According to the forum postings over at SEUniverse, the latest DaVinci clients (v15.8 is current) may not work correctly and the older v15.3 client needs to be used to correctly finalise the W900.

http://www.seuniverse.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3330

Pretty sure I put EMEA1 on my W900 last time, (generic locale firmware I believe) but as of this posting only EU versions are on the server. (EU1 through EU5)

Client and info are here: http://www.davinciteam.com/

If you're not familiar with DaVinci, you need to pay for a credit in order to finalise the firmware update which is 10 euros.

Refer to the first topic post for firmware version details.

Hello,
I'am having a problem and hope you guys will help.
I was having some problems with my w900 and decided to use SEUS.
I've downloaded 2.6.4.5 version, it upgrade it self to 2.6.5.5 and go ahead. SEUS finds my phone, downloads some update and start updateing ... But almost at the end it stops with "cannot continue, try later" error. Now when I turn on my phone it blinks with wite screen and noting else.
I dont know my previouse firmware version
What shoul I do ?
Can roll back or somethig ?
Please help!

Regards
