Hi everyone! First post here with a frustrating little problem.
My battery bar icon and the battery percentage display (when you press volume key) are totally diferent. I've had the phone for 3 days and not once has the charge "completed" to 100%
Last night I had it on for 9 hours while I slept and the indicator says that it is still charging. Whats more, the phone says it is only 90% charged, yet the battery icon appears to be fully green. The thing that worries me about this is that phone appears to be constantly charging when the battery may already be full. This can't be good for the battery right?

I updated to the latest firmware today with seus and then did a complete reset in the phone. The battery is still being reported weirdly.
I put the battery in my girlfriends k750i and it reports it at 100% charged, but in mine appears to be 87% charged. Is there a fix or workaround for this strange problem or is my handset just faulty?

@kysterama

I have had battery issues with my K750, it wouldn't show the correct charge, however, it now appears to be fine. I think that the process of using the handset and charging and discharging the battery must have sorted the problem out, but I don't know for sure.

It is interesting that your girlfriend's handset showed the battery to be 100%, this would indicate that it is perhaps a firmware problem rather than the battery, which is at fault. Since you have already upgraded your firmware one imagines that the error is in a part of the firmware that has remained unchanged during the update process.

You might want to claim a new handset under warranty; at worst the problem will be there again and you can wait and see if it sorts itself out as I described above and at best the problem won't be there at all.

i have the same problem, but the funny thing is that although the battery status seems inaccurate, the battery life is actually just fine. i guess if it's just a problem of reading the status inaccurately, i can live with it. of course, if it eventually sorts itself out, then that would be just great!

Thanks for the great reply. I'll give another week or two to see if it sorts itself out and let you guys know. I mean, the phone works 100% as it is supposed to in every other area. I was just worried that the battery wasn't "cutting off" when it reached 100% meaning the battery might get damaged from over-charge or something. If it doesn't sort itself out, then I'll have to send it off for a replacement (God knows how long that will take )
