Will this trick work on t68i i get gprs failed message when the phone is connected to airtel live via pc and i try to access it via wap :-(

hey i m back with new proxy address it works fine when 100.1.200.99:8080 blocks others |

no need for two accounts no need for *99***2# dialin
just change proxy address and port it will work
proxy address is 100.1.200.16
port is 80
and thank u to me will work

hey this address is an airtel proxy and i believe they gonna take some steps to block that as soon as they know till then enjoy

i m talkin abt net on pc through airtel live settings
just with a different proxy address as given 100.1.200.16 on port 80
it is for gprs access on pc without restriction ;it is not abt wap neither abt phone
its about http on pc (its specially for those nokia people who can't initilize modem to
AT+CGDCONT=2,ip,"airtelfun.com"
and can't dial to *99***2#
but can initialize to AT+CGDCONT=,,"airtelfun.com"
and dial to *99# from pc)
hope this will work on pc
coz its workin fine on pc i dont know exactly abt phone and wap
i think for wap this may work ;just use
access point : airtelfun.com
and any user name and password and for proxy use above settings
if any one knowns other settings plz let us know

on phone this works fine for both wap and http
and also on pc it works great
just try using these settings by personal configuration

apn: airtelfun.com
user name: anything u like
password: anything u like irrespective of username
for wap and http both it works
proxy use: enable
proxy: 100.1.200.16
port: 80
just let me know whether this works for nokia and other phones as well as pc |

If you are referring to my method , yes, it should work for you if you followed my instructions exactly.
What do you mean by "gprs failed message" ?
Does it say "Access denied..." or "Connection failed". Please specify.
If you want me to post the complete configuration info for T68i , I will do that for you

it is a proxy of
" 202.131.128.0 - 202.131.159.255
ESTEL COMMUNICATIONS PVT. LTD.
INTERNET INTERNATIONAL GATEWAY
GURGAON"
hey spartan can u just check on
www.all-nettools.com/pr.htm
and then "smartwhois" -------. GO button to check ur config and then can u just try my given proxy settin

Dear Spartan,
I'm still not able to access Net via IE. I have done all the settings in the manner you said, but no success("Page cannot be displayed" comes immediately). Are u able to access net via IE? Yesterday, I had IE6 in my PC and today I upgraded it to IE7 Beta 2 but same result.
Beacuse of that, I'm now using Maxthon browser and it works like IE and supports our Airtel Proxy. |

well i m from Madhya pradesh and it seems that it works fine for me coz i m just posting through this right now...actuallyi think airtelfun distributes ip from different servers ;i m now to connect to gurgaon server
can evryone just post their ip and the server (proxy) address by clicking at www.all-nettools.com/pr.htm. link "smartwhois" and GO button it may give me a bit clear idea abt whether u r connected to chennai server or delhi...also post ur ip through ipconfig command in DOS command
my ip through ipconfig command is 10.149.77.162 now
