The mms APN was working last year. But now Airtel has blocked it!
Anyways, Now I'm posting this message through Firefox(FedoraCore4) which is connected to our free GPRS. Special thanks to u for that connection script. Actually, I had problems with port identification. Can we add that port to Kppp? It's not listed in that.

@rahulmk he is trying brute force trick on pc and in this way using the free gprs. Its an extremely cubersome, time consuming, frustrating way of getting gprs connected. Because sometimes it simply doesn't connect for hours together. But its also the last resort for single channeled gprs phones besides getting a new multi channeled gprs phone

u can identify port by firing following command
wvdialconf

if that dosent work than type

I have heard about the fact Airtel is now monitoring the free hacking by the company www.cms.com. They are running a Project to catch the Numbers who are doning this type of free GPRS etc.
I got it from a staff of cms.

and can u tell me wat they will do with that? and as long as cms is concern i don't think they would be able to moniter thousands of user every day.

and cms is not ibm or lucent. it is a small institution and they can not afford to moniter each of us

they'd probably have to monitor a sizable chunk of airtel subscribers .
