Problem with K750 charging |

Hi All, I just bought a new K750i phone a week back and noticed that my phone does not charge fully.
However long I keep it on the charger it keeps showing the charging icon and never stops, if at this moment I check the battery charge %, it shows 75% charge.
The moment I unplug the charger I see the phone information charge indicator go to 95%.
If I connect my charger back, the battery charge indicator slow comes down back to 75% and the phone keeps charging. I kept it on the charger for couple of hours but still it displays the charging icon. |

If you are using the usb lead to charge then it is normal to not reach 100% charge. If you are using the mains lead then something is wrong. A firmware update should sort it.

i have the same battery problem. firmware was R1N upgraded to R1AA. i charge it overnight and still doesn't charge more than 95% to 97%.
i'm guessing it's probably a defective battery. best to get it replaced at a service center. |

It's not a bug, it's a problem.
I am waiting for SE to change my phone or whatever.

A problem, a problem that cannot be fixed with a firmware upgrade? Or one that can? |

I have the same problems with my battery. Now does this affect the performance of the phone (e.g. battery time) or just the display of it? |

I have the mentioned charging problem with my K750i. Eventhough charging overnight, the max result I can achieve the next morning is 93% at most.
Lately, I've tried removing the battery, and charged it overnight using an external charger. When inserted to the phone, it does shows 100% (1st time since I've bought the phone)
So now, is it a phone hardware, or battery problem? |
