I can't install the update service II much like I can't install the original SEUS software. I have a reasonably educated assumption that it's down to the fact that my USB drivers are corrupt, but I don't know how to completely erase all traces of them from my system (I've deleted the driver files from System32/drivers and deleted all keys associated with Sony Ericsson from HKEY/Local Machine and Current User with no avail. Anyone out there have a definitive way of erasing the drivers WITHOUT suggesting I roll back to a restore point or reinstall Windows completely?

The SEUS client keeps telling me i have an incompatible version of macromedia installed (which i don't). I've installed all of the macromedia flash players possible and none of them seem to resolve this issue, i can't win.
Any suggestions?

Hey Rel,
Yes, I've deleted the files from there too, I'm pretty certain it's now the update drivers that are causing the issue as when I hold down "C" and connect the cable the system no longer detects the handset as a Flash Device and asks for installation like it should.
I'm gonna try one more thing and report back, if this is not successful I am at everyones mercy lol |

Is this application official or could it be a link to a beta version not released?
In Sweden, this application is not available.

Macromedia - have you ever prevented Macromedia from downloading or installing? Goto internet options, look through the tabs and find the button about managing certificates or something like that. Allow enable Macromedia. I think.
Nope! That's a load of WAP
Macromedia
Tools > Internet Options... > Programs > Manage Add-ons...
Have a look and Enable

Nope, what I tried didn't work
I need to know what else was installed when I held the C button down, as the two components that were supposedly installed (EPIUSB.sys EPIUSB.inf) have been deleted yet the system still refuses to detect the phone as a flash device. Going mental here |

You could always try running a repair on windows. To be honest your own suggestion of a roll back seems like a good idea if you can.
