Once two phones discover each other, what can you do via bluetooth? Can you send messages? I know you can send pictures and contacts, but is that it?

You can also send notes, melodies, bookmarks and calendar entries. It is not possible to send SMS/MMS messages with Bluetooth.

You can also pair your Bluetooth phone with other BT devices, like printer, fax, pda, laptop and your PC. A laptop with BT paired with a BT phone allowes the user to use the phone as a modem. As you can see, Bluetooth is quite handy.

@yun: Did you know that Bluetooth is about to enter your home as well? All electric devices connected to each other by wire today might have BT instead of wires in the future.

Maybe TRANQUIL. They are trying Wi-Fi in the US, using wireless lans, etc, and it's not going to well

People prefer wires still (including me).

bluetooth is quite neat. can't wait to see what other applications BT can be used for besides the ones mentioned above
