how to format the memory stick of W800i . |

i have a problem, i try to format the memory stick of my W800i, and at the end Windows is telling me: " Windows can't finish the formating", but everything was deleted ...
Any solution, and how to done that formating, with no problems, does i must use some special software or something alse ....????

you can try formatting it with your phone. File-Manager -> more -> ext. format |

hi m8 welcometo esato.... 
look the best thing is to rather format your stick within the W800i... go to your file explorer, click the info button and select format, thiswill clean it and create the needed folders for you...
i dont trust windows that much so i dont suggest you do it that way...
try this if it dont eork let me know and we can try something else..

It really depends on which firmware you are using, I have R1Na005 and I find its better to format the card using Windows Explorer in FAT mode. The main reason is when I do it on the phone it adds hidden .IND files all over the place, a bit weird! I really can't wait for the new firmware...

Thanks for the advice, but whan i try to format by use format ext. mem. it ask me for a "phone lock code" and i don't have a mind what is the number, where to look for that number ? I purchsed it from a store, i mean i'm first user, if that means something and can halp me....????

if you purchased it brand new and never changed the code, then the code should be 0000 like all ericssons. |

Thanks alot folks, i done the job 
First i format the stick, than i used master reset ....
Now i'm planing to update my W800i with the newest firmware from SEUS.....
Again.... THANKS A LOT.....you halped me in the right way... |
