In may 1996, and it was a Nokia 1610!! Couldn't afford the  388  (Talking 'bout bricks.....I think that the Nokia 1610 nowadays is classed as construction material...  ) |

First phone in 1990. Nokia 101. Still have it somewhere in the house. Built like a brick, not like the new plastic toy they make nowadays. |

I think it was 97, it was a 628 that i later did drop in the sea for like 5-10 sek before i did get it up, after drying it for 12 hours it did start to work again 
Then i did get a T18 around aug 99 and R520 in aug 2001 and now the P800 (23 dec 2002) |

I took my fathers old 8110 when I was 11 years old. A few month later I bought a Motorola v3699 but I didn't like it much and I bought a 3310 when it was released and used it for a year. Then I used an 8310 and an 8890 at the same time but I didn't like those Nokia phones (too) and sold both of them. I know have a modified t68i (red leds on the buttons and mineral grey front cover) and I am very happy with my phone... |

I had a Nokia 8110 on contract when i was 16. Only me and one other guy at college had phones as pay as you go wasn't about then.
That was in '97.
Was a cool phone. You could change what it said on the navi buttons on the screen, if you get what i mean. And it was one of the first to support sms as i recall. Not that i could text any 1 as none of my mates had mobiles.
Had all sorts of phones since then.
Think that the next one that i got was the ericsson pf768.
Had a few Motorolas, most Ericssons,pretty much all of the Nokias up to them just going silly and throwing a new phone out every week, 2 or 3 Samsung, a Sendo, Couple of Siemens, Few Sony and 1 SE phone.
I normally run 2 phones at a time. One as a going out phone and one as a serious phone. My serious phone at the mo is my T68i and my other phone is a Nok 7210. Love playing pacman on it!!!

omg i have had many. my first was a Motorola that was in my car back in 86, it was on NMT system, my first "pocket" handheld mobile did i buy in 92 it was a Motorola we called "kjøttbeinet" in norway
it look like a bone
in 93 i did buy Ericssons Gh96. omfg was i proud still on NMT system. after that i changede a lot of mobiles.
same year i did buy GH197 same as Gh96. but GH197 did support GSM and i had blue display and bottums i think.
then i bought the GF337 the first that came out in Norway. does any one remmeber that one?.
it was a sensatoin of a phone.. peeps stopped me on the street and asked is that a mobile phone. it was so tiny comperd to what esle that was on the market those days........

This is my first ever cellphone and I got it end of september '02 ... I bought it only because 7650 was about 845$ then !! But now its only about 435$ !! :-(:-( how frustrating ... Now I wish I can replace it with a 7650 since I cannot afford the state of the art P800 Cuz its also about 845$ !! BTW I live in jordan and P800 IS RELEASED HERE !! Though its not in the list like sweden and UAE !! ...
