Yeah.

I was on the same Cellnet M25 tarriff. I seem to remember it causing some billing issues for me, which is why I couldn't wait to change to a digital network where you could be charged by the second instead of per minute!

Got my first cel in '93 a Motorola Ultra Classic. The cutting edge feature back then was alphanumeric directory where you could save a name along with the number. My first GSM phone was a Nokia 2110 bought in '97 for the same price that a T68mc goes for now here in the Philippines.

It was in 1996 - a Nokia 1611. The next ones were Nokia 6110, Nokia 6210, Ericsson T68 and then Sony Ericsson T68i and Ericsson T65 that I currently use (both of them).

The year was 1996, a "brick-shaped" nokia 1610 which in weeks was replaced by a 2110. Everbody used to walk around with those crazy motorola pagers / buzzers back then. I also wanted one but got a mobile instead. It sure beat the concept of having change or a phonecard in your pocket while looking for a phonecell that was always occupied or out of order when you needed to use it.

My first phone was in late 1994 and it was a Mitsubishi 200x one of the slimest and nicest phones for its size of the day, total analog no digital yet. Then later in 1995 I got the Nokia 232, that was a kick ass phone for its day also here in the USA. Then in 1997 or 1998 I got a Nokia 6100 series phone, my first digital phone, left crappy at&t and move to Omnipoint(later ot be merged with Voicestream and now Tmobile) that was in 1998 and it was the Nokia 6190. Then in 2000 I had the Nokia 8290 still with VS. Now october 2002 still with Tmobile the T68mi!! This is the best one yet and I wont be going back to Nokia any time soon.

My first phone was an old Motorola bag phone 1994(5) big, ugly but i coudl make calls in a ravine!!!!!

Then i went to a Nokia 100??? i think that is what it was it was a handheld but it took about 2 hands to carry, can anyone confirm if this was a nokia model.....I know it was one of the first mass marketed Nokias for consumers.

then on to bigger and better until ......

The T68i !!!!! ahh life is sweet, especially if the P800 would come out.
