I dont have Airtel live subscription but only net on phone. But it works on a nokia 3230 with nop settings but not on my W550i. It didn't work on my earlier k300i as well. Could you pls tell me which se model you ve got it working?

AirTel customer care executives seems to have a lack of common sense!!!
I hope the management shows a better standard of hiring newbies to the tech field..... most guys over there lacks practical knowledge!
They cudn even giv me the right settings for their Mobile Office for my MPx200 fon. Each guys follows a pre trained form of conversation with the customer and troubleshoots their probs jus by referrin to their computer database, instead of thinkin!!!!

Hey shiv wats that u wanna knw? Is it settings for airtel Live and Airtel GPRS(Mobile Office)?
Here they are....
For Airtel Live!:
APN: airtelfun.com
IP: 100.1.200.99
Port: 8080 (Note: Port shud be 8080 for HTTP connection or it shud be 9201 for WAP conec.)
For Airtel GPRS:
APN: airtelgprs.com
IP: 202.056.231.117
Port: 8080 (pls read the abov note)
These are the basic settings. if u wanna know about anything mor pls post your phone model and specify wat kinda connectivity u r planning 2 use, ie: Airtel Live or Airtel GPRS..... |

watevr it's, shivam shud specify his fon model through which he wants 2 access net.
i hav accessed full(free) GPRS usin jus Airtel Live settins in my Nokia & SE fons. infact, theoretically the trick shud work on any fon wit gprs connectivity. nd it stil does here in Kerala....
i hav explained hz it don in one of my forums.... |

I am a Airtel user from Goa, I've bought a Motorola L6 cellphone, when i contacted Airtel for the settings, the Cutomer Care Executive told me that they've got no settings for Motorola L6....
And now i am am unable to use Motorola L6 to surf the web though PC Via Bluetooth.
Airtel should support Motorola L6 phones too, if anyone knows the settings for Motorola L6 +Airtel GPRS kindly let me know, am grateful & obliged.

@plus try placing the settings manually. Also check spartan's free gprs thread.

is mms free for airtel.they told me only activation is free mms will be charged rs 5 |

it isn't free buddy, Rs. 5 per mms.
