I have also just tried this, but the SE site only lets you dl the v1.19 and so far it just keeps giving me the same old orange firmware, id it possible to download v1.18 from anywhere, or even possible to download the fimware i want and rename it to the one it keeps tryin to install?

@ sanjai

Just follow the instructions, it works... Many people here had some problems as they forgot to check the name of the .conf file. It cannot have a .txt extension!

I just solve the "my operator does not allow update" issue, after many update with the error message. At beginning, i use the software update services from Hong Kong and other places which show the above error.
Untill i remember the phone is from australia, so i use the update service from australia, and suddenly everything work fine, i can update to the latest version.

can this be done with v119?

I have v119 done everything that has been said in here and i keep getting the same orange firmware over and over again.

i have also downloaded v118 from emule and changed the version check file to say v119 so as i could use it and i get the same result, i have followed the instructions exactly but keep gettin the same result

Please. I don't see how evryone is getting their phones flashed

I can't get logged onto the server. Is everyone using SEUS II ?? I'm in the UK and have installed the new update software but when it tries to connect to the service it says "Server busy, too many users. Please try again later!". Been getting this for the past 2 days. HAs anyone actually managed to use the service? I've disabled my firewall as well but this doesn't help.

If there's a new version of SEUS, SE probably changed the update protocol and unbranding using this method is no longer possible...

I've installed the new SEUS II and it's 100% that the method of debranding I described doesn't work anymore.

But one question remains: what happens when I try to update phone (debranded with my method)? Is it possible that SE keeps all IMEI numbers stored and now with the new fancy software, when I update my phone, won't the branding come back? I'm afraid to check, so if anyone did this, please tell us .
